The Lawmate DV-500 is the smallest mp4 portable surveillance recorder available on the market. Small enough to fit inside a packet of cigarettes. Simple to use with it's one touch record facility. It records on to readily available SD memory cards so there are no moving parts to worry about. Time and date watermarked for security and prosecution purposes.

This is a high resolution 640x480 24fps digital video recorder (DVR). It has been very popular with motorcycle mounted patrols and covert surveillance outfits due to it's small size and solid state architecture.

Can supply power to the cameras on this page so no extra power supplies are required. It can take up to a 16Gb SD card which can hold around 15 hours of high quality footage.

Video is easily viewable: Can be connected to a standard tv or monitor. Can be connected to any computer with the USB cable supplied. Footage can be reviewed on it's own built-in screen.

To get the best from this portable surveillance solid state recorder we advise using medium quality mode. The resolution will drop to 640x480 but the frame rate will be 24fps which is much more important when filming high motion. To change the quality setting, go to video record so you can see the picture from the camera on the screen. Press the setup button and change to MED. You can also turn the frame counter and time/date stamp off from this menu.
